Pumpkin Decorating Contest

Families, drop off your decorated pumpkins at the bookstore any time during regular store hours during the week of October 15 but definitely before 7pm on October 17.

Your pumpkins will be displayed in the store until November 1. You may pick up your pumpkins during store hours until November 2. After that, we will take care of any pumpkins left behind.

Contest Categories

1. Most Literary: Adult
2. Most Literary: Kids
3. Spookiest
4. Most Artistic

Prizes

The winner in each category will each a $25 gift certificate to This House of Books.

Rules

Due to the length of display time, we ask you please do not carve your pumpkins. Only decorated pumpkins that are free of carvings, piercings, or soft spots will be accepted.

If you are a child entering this contest, we will need the signature of your parent or guardian giving consent for you to enter the contest. Parents or guardians can drop off a note to this effect or mail it to us at
