Dog Day Donation Drive

National Dog Day took place on August 26 but the need for donations continues. That's why it's never too late to celebrate by bringing your donations for the Yellowstone Valley Animal Shelter (YVAS) to This House of Books. 

For the next two weeks, we will collect items you bring from the YVAS Wish List (see below). Afterward, we will make sure the items are delivered.

This is a project that's easy for the kids to get involved. Rounding up towels and blankets from the neighbors can not only help the animals at the shelter but can help the neighbors, too, by helping rid them worn-out but usuable textiles.

WISH LIST

• Textiles: Blankets (not quilted, please), Towels (any size)
• Cleaners: Bleach, Windex, Dawn Blue dish soap
• Bedding: Pine litter for pocket pets, Round fleece beds (low & flat for cats)
• Cat Food: Friskies, Paté

DONATION DRIVE for YVAS: August 31 through September 15 . Drop off your donations during business hours at This House of Books.
