Banner for reading with Lynda Moss and China Berry at This House of Books

On Saturday, December 16 at 1:00 pm Lynda Moss and China Berry, a Bernese Mountain Dog, return to This House of Books. They will read from An Open Heart, a story about another Bernese Mountain Dog, Moritz, and his acts of kindness.

An Open Heart, written by Barry J. Schieber, lovingly tells the story of Barry’s loyal companion Moritz, a great big dog who won the hearts of children and adults in Montana. Beautifully and realistically illustrated by Hedvig Rappe-Flowers, who lives in Bozeman, this book will delight and inform.

China Berry is a great big love of a dog who enjoys listening to Lynda read and adores children. Lynda Moss with China Berry, who was trained as a puppy at Prison Paws for Humanity at the Montana Women’s Prison, recently passed the therapy animal program offered by the Intermountain Therapy Animals program in Bozeman. As a therapy team, Lynda and China visit healthcare facilities, libraries, and schools in Montana.

After the reading, Lynda and China will have free copies of books by Barry J. Schieber available for kids and their families attending the program.

This event is free to the public.
