Panel Discussion: Outdoors
On #shopsmall Saturday, November 25 starting at 5:30, This House of Books will host an exciting discussion with outstanding, award-winning wildlife photographers Jack Ballard and Dave M. Shumway. The moderator for this event will be none other than Lisa Densmore Ballard, an award-winning photographer in her own right. Lisa is also vice president of the Outdoor Writers Association of America.
Taking an outdoor focus, the panelists will throw light on their passion for sharing the natural world through their camera work and will reveal proven techniques for capturing stunning digital photographs.
Jack’s new book, Wildlife Photography: Proven Techniques, will be for sale. You can pick up autographed copies as gifts.
On the walls of the bookstore, a selection of Dave’s best selling work is on display and available for purchase.
Lisa’s most current book, Ski Faster! Guide to Ski Racing and High Performance Skiing will be available to buy.
